Our chilli plant shave been shorn of their ripe fruits now, and we have made them into strings for drying.
We have made chilli jam with some of them and, delightfully, the plants now seem to be flowering again in the warmth of our kitchen, so there may be more chillies to come.
Threading them made our eyes water, the piercing them with the needle seemed to release a lot of spice and had me coughing a lot.

I haven't been on your blog for a while - and not been blogging much either. The weather is not very inspiring at the moment!
I went down last night to check the damage on the plot after the storms and noticed your fence had come down. You might know already but I thought I'd drop you a line just in case. See you soon - possibly at the AGM next weekend?

No, we didn't know, so thanks! We will pop down tomorrow and sort it out.
We haven't been there much either, just been ordering seeds and looking in the books, planning for this next year.
We are going to the AGM next week, so see you there.
